Passion's Call

Passion's Call presents Southern Gospel Music at its finest.  Members are Kathy Sutton, Doug Conn, and Brenda Spencer.  Until recently the group performed as "Doug Conn and the Comforters," and sang at many places in northeast and southeast Texas.  The trio loves to sing God's praises and minister to hurting souls about the goodness of Jesus.  If you would like to bring Passion's Call to your church or event, they can be contacted at

(936) 824-2959 or (903) 595-2920.

The Relations Quartet from Magnolia, Texas

The Relations Quartet is a full-time Southern Gospel Music Ministry with a style that would be considered traditional. The quartet ministers wherever the Lord sends them with these thoughts in mind: to lift up the name of Jesus, to see lost souls saved, and to see other Christians touched by God.

This ministry has been around for over 23 years. In that time period the Relations Quartet has shared the stage with such groups as The Cathedral Quartet, The Dixie Echoes, Gold City, The Inspirations, The Nelons, The Kingsmen, The Florida Boys, The Spears, the original Masters Five, Gov. Jimmy Davis, and many more.

The group started with four young men all related to each other (thus the name The Relations Quartet). Many faces have come and gone in that time frame, but they've always been "related in Christ," so the name has continued.

Rod Treme, who sings bass and manages the group, is the only original member. Other members are Ryan Napier, lead; Jeremy Partlow, tenor; and Chris "Hoss" Hoke, who sings baritone. Be sure to visit the Relations Quartet's website, www.relationsqt.org

The New Plainsmen Quartet from Chickasha, Oklahoma

Now in their fourth year, The New Plainsmen Quartet is making its mark in the gospel music industry. In the Southern Gospel tradition, the quartet brings to the stage close harmonies, unique arrangements, and great audience appeal. Based in Chickasha, Okla., this quartet performs about 100 dates a year. The quartet has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Southern Gospel Music (Gold City, The Anchormen, Phil Cross and Poet Voices, Naomi and the Segos, just to name a few). They have recorded three projects and released three national radio singles. The Quartet's debut single, My God Is Big Enough, charted in the National Top 80 Southern Gospel Charts in March 2001 and remained there for six months. Their second national single, If You Could See Where I Am, was released late last year.  Their release "God Made A Way" is being requested on radio stations all over the U.S.  Members of the quartet have dedicated their talents to reaching people with the good news of Jesus Christ. Dale Ozment: Dale's lead voice along with his humble spirit makes him a favorite with everyone. James Sparks: James sings the tenor part and is emcee for the group. Keith Nickell:  Keith sings baritone and is the newest member of the quartet; Billy Dotson: With a voice as big as Texas, this Kaufman resident has one of the lowest and smoothest bass voices in gospel music today. If you enjoy positive and powerful 4-part harmony with a mix of laughter, praise and heart touching moments, then you have a personal invitation from each member to experience the dynamic ministry of the New Plainsmen Quartet. www.thenewplainsmen.com

The Pleasant Mountain Boys from Mt. Pleasant

The Pleasant Mountain Boys' Country Gospel style music has proved to be a favorite everywhere they sing.  They bring lots of old time favorites such as "Come and Dine," newer numbers such as Jeff & Sheri Easter's "From A Tavern to a Temple," and even some originals.  And John Fitch always adds a bit of comedy to the program.  The Pleasant Mountain Boys, from Highland Park Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, take their music ministry where the Lord leads.  They have opened for such groups as The Florida Boys, The Dixie Melody Boys, James Blackwood, Melody Masters Quartet, and The Toney Brothers.  The group features live music and includes lead singer John Fitch, who also plays the mandolin; Waylon Moore, vocals and bass guitar; Brian Moore, vocals; Jerry Smith, vocals and keyboard; Hugh Blair, steel guitar; and Larry Russell, drums.
